Ever wanted to play MGO, but you’re afraid people will laugh at your silly UNORIGINAL names? Well, I’m here to help all the noobs choose the most awesome and intimidating name possible. When people see you they will definitely think “wow, this guy MUST be good” before even seeing how you play. Okay, first things first: If you’re not very creative you can always just put your own spin on one of the following names.
Solid Snake
Liquid Snake
Solidus Snake
Liquid Ocelot
Sniper Wolf
Grey Fox
Boss
Big Boss
Slap a number on it ! (ex Solid Snake789 or Big Boss673)
- Nevermind the fact that there are literally thousands of players with names just like these; thats a minor detail. If your number doesn’t work, just add another number to your number and BAM! Now, you’re the one and only Liquid_Ocelot_876175981! Of course, you can also use cool symbols, underscores, and other miscellany to your name: for example, xXx_~SÕL!d_-_sNÅkè~_xXx! Think of the POSSIBILITIES!
Okay, now the ‘fun’ part! Time to let your CREATIVE juices flow! The secret to a great name is starting with a adjective then ending with a metal gear themed “code name”. (Again pay no attention to the insane amount of people with names just like these…I assure you, you are CREATIVE and ORIGINAL. Choose from the list on the left then match it with any word from the right and BINGO! You now have an ORIGINAL and intimidating name.
Deadly + Hound
Sneaky + Wolf
Crazy + Fox
Blood + Boss
Death + Snake
Liquid + Raven
Solid + Mantis
Solidus + Sniper
Theres many more these are just a few examples….
And lastly…bring you real life name into MGO! Just put any of the MGS themed code name with your real name and BANGO! Now you can be just like “Solid Steve” or “Biggest Boss Larry”!
The best part is that you can use this ‘guide’ for ALL online games. Just replace the names and related stuff with the equivalent of said online game. (ex. xXx__MÆsTËr_jOhn_cHiÊf_0472__xXx for Halo 3!)

(And yes, I haven’t posted anything in a while. Shut up.)

Exoto Chaparral 2E x Pentax P60 x Photoshop CS4.
Tis’ the season. The season where nothing interesting ever happens. And if nothing happens, nothing for this blog then. Don’t worry though, my poor malnourished blog. Just hibernate and eventually I’ll get back to you.
Eventually.
Man, they’re really churning these things out, aren’t they? I mean, I appreciate it all, but do they think we actually have that much money in our pockets? And, with all these new releases, what about those really old ‘preorder’s? Like that poor Chaparral 2J that’s been in the preorder section for two years now? On a side note, my blog is really starting to look like an ‘Exoto status report page’. Mental note to talk about something else for the next few posts.
Anyways, they’re introducing their all new ‘Grand Prix Classics 1:10′ collection. Uh, cool? It would be if it wasn’t so damn expensive! I mean, NO model ANYTHING should be worth $1,998.95. Anyways, here’s what Exoto says:
Exoto is ready for an encore with the introduction of this new and exclusive collection of grand 1:10 scale Grand Prix replicas that will take you back in time to world class tracks like Monaco, Silverstone, and Monza. Years of experience have been vested into this new 1:10 grand scale collection that will rival the most sophisticated pieces of art! The special machined parts, precision castings, use of noble materials, and wealth of realistic detail that go into each and every replica are simply out of this world. Furious detail at extreme close-up. Learn more…
I wonder if anyone will fall for this one. If you read their online page, they really seem really enthusiastic about this one. So I don’t know who to feel sorry for: the poor suckers (no pun intended) who shell out two thousand bucks for this model, or Exoto, who appears to think this will sell out fast. Well, it IS the holiday season…
Avus Galaxy is the name of the paint used (by the manufacturer Standox) that has a colour-changing effect. This is caused by mica particles scattered throughout the paint. Or something. It just looked really pretty, was limited edition, and was $50.00 on eBay (as opposed to the Exoto price of $298.00), so I snagged it.

I should consider making a category named ‘Exoto’, with all these posts I do on it.
Safe AND cool. So yeah, another reason to get a Challenger.
